Albion fans think they have spotted a clue about goalkeeper Maty Ryan's future.

The Australian international has not been involved in the Seagulls squad for their last eight games in all competitions.

Graham Potter said he wanted to give Robert Sanchez “an extended run” of games and praised Ryan’s professionalism.

However, this morning Albion released a series of mobilephone wallpapers and Ryan was not among the players featured.

This led to fans some fans speculating whether he might be on his way out.

One said: "The disrespect on Maty Ryan is real he might not be no.1 at the moment, but don’t ever forget what he has done to keep us where we are."

Sanchez has started between the sticks recently and Potter currently likes Jason Steele as his number two.

Last week, Potter reiterated last week that the situation has not changed with Ryan.

He told The Argus: “As I said before we are just going to use Rob and Jason for a period of games.

“We will keep monitoring the situation.

“Maty has been fantastic in terms of how he has gone about his work and his professionalism around the group.

“It is a difficult situation for him, but he has handled it well and we will support all our players and see where it goes.”

Ryan himself revealed a few weeks ago that he is free to leave if Albion “get a good offer”
