Albion head coach Graham Potter felt his side should have been more clinical in their 2-1 win over Blackpool in the FA Cup fourth round.
The Seagulls had chances to extend their lead in the second half, with substitute Neal Maupay having two good opportunities and both Alexis Mac Allister and Davy Propper being denied by Blackpool keeper Chris Maxwell.
But Potter felt his side could have done better in front of goal.
He said: “That is the only thing we could say we could have done better with.
“I think we controlled the game, they were organised defensively and that made it hard to break them down.
“We had to be patient and wait for the chances. But we are happy to get through to the next round.”
