How Albion ’s players rated in the win over Blackpool.

Christian Walton 7/10:

The keeper made his first start at the Amex in over six years.

He made a great save to keep out Luke Garbutt’s free kick, but Could do nothing about Gary Madine’s equaliser.

Joel Veltman 8/10:

Did a great job at right wing back.

He got forward well and put in some dangerous crosses including one to set up Andi Zeqiri for a chance.

Lewis Dunk 7/10:

Had the first chance of the game as he headed over from Alexis Mac Allister’s corner.

Did well to get back and make a block after a loose pass from Davy Propper to him.

Adam Webster 7/10:

Would have hoped to do better with his header in the first half.

Put his head where it hurt in the second half to try and get on the end of a corner, but got a knee to the face for his trouble.

Dan Burn 7/10:

Made a couple of loose touches. He made some nice runs down the left, but some were not spotted by his teammates.

Steven Alzate 7/10:

Did not have much clue about his goal after Mac Allister’s strike hit him on the back and wrong-footed Chris Maxwell.

Was replaced by Solly March in the 61st minute.

Yves Bissouma 8/10:

Had a couple of efforts from distance which he did not get hold of.

But he more than made up for it with his goal which was a superb strike from 30 yards to score his second goal of the season.

Davy Propper 8/10:

A great performance from the Dutch international. He made some intelligent runs into the box.

Was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet after his header into the ground was well saved by Maxwell.

Alexis Mac Allister 8/10:

Another impressive display from the Argentinian. He put in some good set-piece deliveries to set up Dunk and Webster for chances.

Played a key role in the winner after his shot from outside the box deflected off Alzate and went in.

Was denied a goal after his curling effort which was well saved by Maxwell. He was then replaced by Leandro Trossard in the 61st minute.

Andi Zeqiri 7/10:

A quiet afternoon for the striker. He saw his effort blocked in the first half.

Should have done better with his header when unmarked in the box. He was then replaced by Pascal Gross in the 76th minute.

Percy Tau 7/10:

Made his home debut and looked lively.

He almost got in the first half after getting on the end of Dunk’s pass but could not bring the ball down to get a shot away.

Was replaced by Neal Maupay in the 61st minute.

Substitutes

Neal Maupay N/A:

Replaced Tau and had two good chances late on but his finishing was not up to his usual standards.

Leandro Trossard N/A:

Replaced Mac Allister and did well to set-up Maupay for two chances with some good crosses from the right.

Solly March N/A:

Replaced Alzate. He looked lively down the left and caused problems with his deliveries.

He set up Propper for his chance late on after picking him out well with his cross.

Pascal Gross N/A:

Replaced Zeqiri and had a chance late on but fired just wide after finding room for a shot.
