How Albion’s players rated against Fulham.

Robert Sanchez 7/10:

Was not really tested during the game. However, he did have to keep an eye on Ola Aina’s effort from distance in the first half.

Joel Veltman 8/10:

Another good display by the Dutch international. He restricted Bobby Decordova-Reid to very little. He also got forward well and put in some good crosses.

Ben White 7/10:

Was a bit hesitant on a couple of occasions in the first half when going for the ball and lost out. Made a couple of good runs forward. Put a great low ball across goal to tee up Neal Maupay for his chance late on.

Lewis Dunk 8/10:

Should have done better with his header from Pascal Gross’ free kick, but headed his effort straight at Alphonse Areola.

Made a great goalline clearance to deny Fulham a winner.

Adam Webster 6/10:

Was nearly punished by Ivan Cavaleiro after giving the ball away but luckily the winger fired wide.

He also put his header wide from Gross’ corner in the second half.

Solly March 8/10:

Caused problems down the left and put some good deliveries into the box from both crosses and set pieces.

Saw his effort late on deflected behind for a corner.

Yves Bissouma 7/10:

Made a vital tackle to stop Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa getting into the box.

Was unlucky to pick up a booking for his tackle on Cavaleiro.

Pascal Gross 7/10:

Put in some great deliveries from set pieces to set up both Dunk and Webster for chances in either half.

He also went close himself with a free kick from just outside the box, which he fired wide.

Alexis Mac Allister 7/10:

Did well to press Fulham at the back and force them into a couple of mistakes. Played a nice flick to set up Maupay for his chance.

Was replaced by Davy Propper in the 83rd minute.

Neal Maupay 8/10:

He caused the Fulham defence problems despite being isolated up top at points. Did well down the right to set up Leandro Trossard for his chance.

Should have done better when Mac Allister flicked the ball into his path but he fired over.

Thought he had scored the winner in the last ten minutes but was superbly denied by Areola.

Leandro Trossard 6/10:

Lost the ball a couple of times early on in his own half.

Should have put Albion ahead in the first half when Maupay found him unmarked in the box, but he fired his effort straight at Areola.

Substitutes:

Davy Propper N/A:

Came on for Mac Allister, but did not have an awful of time to get involved.
