Simon Rusk has signed one of his former Albion development squad players for Stockport County.
Will Collar has moved to Edgeley Park until the end of the season on a free transfer from Hamilton Academical.
The 24-year-old midfielder from Horsham played for the Seagulls’ senior side last season in their Carabao Cup defeat to Southampton.
Rusk recently left Albion’s under-23s to take charge at County.
He said of Collar: “He’s someone I know well from my time at Brighton, and who will complement the squad well going forward for the rest of the season.
“Will has good recent pedigree from his time in the Scottish Premier League, and will provide composure and versatility in what is now a very competitive midfield."
