How Albion’s players rated against Crystal Palace:
Robert Sanchez 6/10:
Will be unhappy he let Jean-Philippe Mateta’s effort go through his legs.
Could do nothing about the winner from Christian Benteke.
Joel Veltman 8/10:
Looked dangerous down the right and put in some good crosses.
Capped off another great performance by getting the equaliser with a lovely first-time finish in the box.
Ben White 6/10:
Will be unhappy to have let the ball go through his legs for the first goal by Mateta.
Lewis Dunk 6/10:
Was caught in no-man’s land for the goal after going out to try and help Burn, but ended up not being able to get there and leaving White exposed in the middle.
Dan Burn 6/10:
Got too tight to Jordan Ayew in the build-up to the goal and was then turned.
Put in a couple of good crosses in the second half to set up chances.
Steven Alzate 6/10:
Saw his effort blocked after being played in by Bissouma. Was replaced by Danny Welbeck at half time.
Yves Bissouma 6/10:
Made a couple of careless passes when under no pressure. Had a effort from distance which went well over.
Pascal Gross 7/10:
Played a vital role in the goal after his shot broke to Veltman, who tucked the ball home. Was replaced by Alireza Jahanbakhsh in the 80th minute.
Alexis Mac Allister 7/10:
Saw his effort from outside the box deflected wide of the post. Was replaced by Adam Lallana in the 67th minute.
Neal Maupay 6/10:
Saw his effort blocked as he tried to turn in the box. His touch and passing let him down on a couple of occasions.
Leandro Trossard 6/10:
The Belgian was unlucky not to score after being denied twice by Vicente Guaita.
Substitutes:
Danny Welbeck 7/10:
Had a good chance which he poked wide of the post. He then saw his effort well saved by Guaita.
Adam Lallana N/A:
Should have done better as he put his effort over from just outside the box when he had time to take a touch.
Alireza Jahanbakhsh N/A:
Nearly made an instant impact after his effort from just outside the box was deflected wide late on.
