Tariq Lamptey is back in training with the Albion squad.

The wing-back has a chance of featuring at West Brom on Saturday if all goes well this week.

But it is unlikely to be as a starter.

Lamptey joined training as planned over the weekend.

He has been out since December with a hamstring injury.

Head coach Graham Potter said: “He started the very first stages of joining the group so it depends on how this week goes.

“He has got a chance to maybe be involved at the weekend so we will see.”

Lamptey has not played since going off during the 0-0 draw at Fulham heading towards Christmas.

SANCHEZ SIGNS NEW DEAL

DOES THIS SUM IT UP FROM LALLANA?

Joel Veltman has impressed on the right of defence and scored his first goal for the club against Crystal Palace on Monday.

But Albion would love to have Lamptey’s pace as part of their options for the remaining fixtures.

The next update on Lamptey and Adam Webster, who has missed the last two games, is expected tomorrow.
