Albion head coach Graham Potter has given an injury update on Adam Webster and the rest of his squad ahead of their trip to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday (3pm, Sky Sports).

Webster went off in the 1-1 draw at Burnley earlier this month with an ankle injury and has missed the Seagulls last two games against Aston Villa and Crystal Palace.

However, Potter has given an update on the defender and the rest of his squad ahead of their trip to the Hawthorns.

He said: “Adam Webster is taking a bit longer than we thought, I think that as we have got to the grips with his injury and I'd say it looking like he will not be back till after the international break.

"So that is disappointing for us, but apart from that there are no problems from the game the other night."

But there was more positive news on Tariq Lamptey who has been missing since December with a hamstring injury.

Potter said: “Well he has trained again today and there were no problems after the training session, so he had a good training session and week. We need to see how he reacts, but there is a chance he will be involved in the squad, but not to start which is some good news.”
