Livewire Tariq Lamptey hopes to give Albion a lift today - after they confirmed a double injury setback.
The right wing-back is feeling “a lot happier” and could be part of the trip to West Brom if he comes through an assessment at training.
Graham Potter yesterday revealed he is preparing to be without Adam Webster not only at the Hawthorns but also for all three games in March.
The centre-back suffered ligament damage when he injured his ankle in the 1-1 draw at Burnley.
Less unexpectedly, it appears Solly March’s campaign is over as he targets pre-season following a knee injury suffered at Liverpool.
GRAHAM POTTER'S PRE-WBA PRESS CONFERENCE
Lamptey has not played since December due to a hamstring problem but has taken a full part in training this week and Potter praised the way he has dealt with the injury.
The Albion boss said: “He has been fine, working away, disappointed of course because you want to play but he’s been fine.
“I think he’s a lot happier now he’s closer to being involved and back in the team. He’s a good boy, very level.
