An injury-hit Leicester side were held to a 1-1 draw by Burnley at Turf Moor.

The Foxes, who visit the Amex on Saturday night (8pm, Sky Sport) were without key players including Harvey Barnes, James Maddison and Jonny Evans.

Evans absence meant that Wilfred Ndidi had to drop in a back three.

The hosts took an early lead after Hamza Choudhury’s pass to Ndidi was cut out by Matej Vydra, who drove into the box and put his effort into the roof of the net.

In the 34th minute the Foxes were level after Ndidi’s ball over the top found Kelechi Iheanacho, who volleyed the ball into the bottom corner.

Burnley were then denied by the post after Ashley Westwood’s volley came back off the frame of the goal.

The Foxes then hit the post after Ricardo Pereira picked out Youri Tielemans, who effort came back off the upright.

The point leaves Leicester third in the table, while Burnley remain in 15th place and are six points clear of the bottom three.
