Adam Webster is facing a big international break - away from the spotlight.
The sidelined Albion defender is continuing to recover from an ankle injury.
He would love to be available for the resumption of action at Manchester United a fortnight on Sunday.
Albion boss Graham Potter said: “We are hopeful. He is just at the stage where he is running, not with the ball yet, so he has still got a bit to go.
“I think the nature of his injury means you are going to get a bit of a plateau and probably that is where he is at the moment so we just have to keep working him through that.
ROBERTS PLAYS HUGE ROLE WITH KEEPERS
“We are hopeful for after the international break but no timescale yet really.”
Potter must decide whether to stay with a back three against Newcastle.
He was due to check on Blyth-born defender Dan Burn (hamstring).
