Dan Burn is expected to be ready to start for Albion at Old Trafford.

The versatile defender missed Saturday’s win over Newcastle due to a hamstring problem.

He felt tightness in the previous match at Southampton.

Although Burn was unable to start he was named on the bench against Newcastle for a Seagulls squad short of fit defenders.

Albion return to action versus Manchester United a week on Sunday.

Head coach Graham Potter said: “Credit to Dan that he made himself available for the bench and obviously the international break gives us another couple of weeks to make him a bit stronger.

“We will take it as we go but, hopefully, he’s looking more likely for the Manchester United game.”
