Albion were held to a goalless draw against Everton at the Amex.
The Seagulls had the best chances of the first half with Jakub Moder, Yves Bissouma, Neal Maupay and Danny Welbeck all going close.
Graham Potter's side continued to carve out numerous chances in the second half with the best falling to Maupay after some good work from Bissouma to pick him out.
But the striker put his effort wide when he should have least put it on target.
