Albion fans might want to keep a close eye on how Chelsea line-up against Manchester City in their FA Cup semi-final this evening as it could indicate who could feature against them on Tuesday.

Manager Thomas Tuchel has not named the same starting XI since replacing Frank Lampard at the Bridge in January.

In his first 12 Premier League games he has made 50 changes to his side with them still fighting on three fronts in the Champions League and FA Cup.

But with the Blues having played on Tuesday night against Porto in the Champions League, Tuchel is likely to again tinker with his side against City.

The players who do not start against City will more than likely line-up against the Seagulls at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.

Chelsea are still trying to secure a Champions League spot this season, by finishing in the top four but face competition from West Ham, Leicester, and Liverpool for one of the remaining top two spots, with Manchester City and United, set to finish in the top two.

Tuchel has already confirmed Mateo Kovacic (hamstring) and Andreas Christensen (muscle problem) will miss the clash with City but did not confirm if they would be back for their clash with Albion.

He said: “Mateo is unfortunately still out, already feeling better but still out and cannot be in the squad.

“And also Andreas Christensen is out and cannot be in the squad, so this is the situation.”

Despite making plenty of changes to his starting XI every week the fans are happy with the results he is getting.

The Blues have only lost two of his first 18 games in all competitions.

But Sam Inkersole, who covers Chelsea for football.london believes that fans are happy with Tuchel’s rotation policy, as long as he continues to get the results.

He said: “The only happiness comes with results for the fanbase and whether that involves rotation or not, they wouldn’t really care less.

“Tuchel has yet to name an unchanged side since taking charge but you can’t deny the results he has got.

“He’s got a very deep and talented squad and is using it.”
