Albion goalkeeper Megan Walsh believes that they can use their defeat to Bristol City as motivation as they prepare to face them in the FA Cup fourth round this afternoon (2pm).
The two sides met in the WSL in January where Bristol City won 3-0 in a game which Walsh described as ‘their lowest point of the season’.
However, since then Hope Powell’s side have been in fine form.
They have only lost one of their last six games and Walsh insists they want to use that defeat at motivation as they prepare to face Bristol City at The People’s Pension Stadium.
She said: “Yeah definitely (Bristol City defeat gives us extra motivation), that was probably the lowest point of our season and from there we said we cannot go back to that, we cannot give a performance like that.
“So you might look at the Everton game and say that was a low performance, but we bounced back from that.
“But this Sunday we know we need to turn up, play how we should play and then we will get a result.”
