Joel Veltman is confident Albion can stay into the Premier League heading into their final seven games of the season.
The Seagulls moved down a place in the table, to 16th after Newcastle beat West Ham 3-2 in a five-goal thriller on Saturday.

Graham Potter's side are also a point closer to the bottom three after Fulham drew 1-1 away at Arsenal with on-loan Albion goalkeeper Maty Ryan playing his part in the Gunners last-minute equaliser.

But as the Seagulls prepare to face Chelsea tomorrow night at Stamford Bridge (8pm) Veltman believes they have what it takes to beat the drop.
Speaking to the clubs website, he said: “We can do it. If we weren't creating chances and couldn't get out of our own box, I would be worried.
"But we create chances, we have better games than the opponent, we will get the points we need. We will be safe at the end of the season, for sure."
He added: “We're an amazing team and have put in some brilliant performances and in most games we have played well but we haven't always got the goal to get us over the line – look at the Palace game where we had loads of chances, but they took all three points.”
