Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson has called an emergency meeting with fellow Premier League captains to discuss the European Super League (ESL).
The Reds are one of the so-called 'big six' clubs in England along with Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham.
According to reports in the Daily Mail, the 30-year-old, who is currently out injured, is organising a collective response from all 20 captains of Premier League clubs, including the ‘big six’.
That comes after the other 14 clubs in the Premier League met earlier today.
Albion and their 13 fellow Prem clubs involved unanimously and vigorously rejected the plans for the competition.
