Albion head coach Graham Potter will be forced into making one change from the side, which drew with Chelsea, when they face already relegated Sheffield United on Saturday (8pm).
Ben White will serve a one-match ban after being sent off late on in the draw against Chelsea for two bookable offences.
The 23-year-old has been one of the first names on the teamsheet for the Seagulls.
He has started in 31 of their 32 league games in his debut season in the top flight.
But Potter admits they will have to adapt without White.
He said: “I didn’t get a clear view of the first yellow and then I think we get caught up the pitch late on and the ball gets turned over.
“I think it’s a one v one situation and he makes the foul that probably is a yellow card from where I am sitting.
“So, we have to adapt, have to deal with that because that’s how it is.”
