Albion defender Bernardo made his first start for Red Bull Salzburg since returning from a serious knee injury in their 3-2 defeat to WSG Tirol.

The 25-year-old ruptured the sideband in his knee at the end of January and that kept him out until the start of last month.

Since he has returned from injury his previous five appearances had come from the bench.

However, he played started and played the full 90 minutes as Salzburg's seven-match unbeaten run came to an end.

The Brazilian was booked in the 19th minute.

That was only his second start since joining the Austrian giants.
