Albion midfielder Davy Propper could be handed a route back to the Dutch top flight.

PSV are understood to be keen to take back the midfielder they sold to the Seagulls almost four years ago.

Sources in the Netherlands suggest Albion want 10 million euros, or about £8.6 million, for the experienced international, who is under contract until June, 2023.

While PSV would look to negotiate on that, it is not believed the fee or wages required to secure Propper would be prohibitive.

Propper suffered illness and injury early this season but, even when fit and available, has struggled for minutes.

He turns 30 in September and it is thought he would still be a force in the easier-paced Eredivisie were he to return.
