Albion have announced the amount of fans that have renewed their season tickets for the 2021/22 campaign.

92% of fans have renewed their season tickets for next season.

The deadline was 5pm today, but the Seagulls have announced their will be more season tickets to purchase as a result of increased capacity at the Amex.

Albion Deputy chairman and chief executive Paul Barber said: “Once again it underlines the amazing support we have from the fans.

"We were apprehensive going into this year’s renewal phase due to the global pandemic, but the response has been hugely encouraging and there is no doubt fans cannot wait to get back to the Amex next season.

“On behalf of everyone at the club I would like to thank our season-ticket holders for this amazing show of support.

“We have also seen more than 80% of our 1901 Club members renew for a new five-year term, which is equally astonishing, especially given the difficult times facing many of the business community in the face of the pandemic.

“Again, I would like to extend our thanks to those who have renewed, as well as those who are not in a position to do so.

“We fully understand that these are difficult times, and we hope that we will still see many of you in the future as guests of our other members, at selected matches or if you return to the 1901 Club in the future when the economy has stabilised.

“We are working hard on the return of fans protocols, alongside the Premier League, and we will be working hard to provide a safe and welcoming environment for fans when they return, and we are confident we will be back to full capacity in time for the new season.
