Jofra Archer made his return to action for Sussex’s Second XI against Surrey at Hove earlier today after recovering from surgery on his finger.
Sussex won the toss and elected to bat and Archer came in with the hosts 287-6.
And he put in an impressive display with the bat as he made 35 runs from just 46 balls which included three fours and two sixes.
But just as the England international looked to make a big he was dismissed after edging a delivery from James Taylor to former Sussex man Laurie Evans at fourth slip.
