To get the lowdown on Albion’s opponents, Wolves I spoke to Joe Edwards, who covers Wanders for the Express and Star:

What have you made of their season?

It’s been difficult. They’ve had several key players struck down by injuries and the small squad philosophy needs to be changed - as Nuno has admitted.

Losing Raul Jimenez in November to a fractured skull, Wolves lost their focal point and ultimately, they haven’t scored enough goals and conceded sloppy ones all season long.

They have still picked up a fair amount of results along the way, but they’ve not been great to watch.

There’s very much a feeling of getting this season done, having a big summer and hopefully getting back on track next season.

Where will they finish?

Where they are currently-12th, which is a fair reflection too.

They’ve not been consistent enough for a top-half finish, really, and it seems there is just too much of a gap to sneak in there.

What have you made of Fabio Silva’s performances?

He’s done pretty well in the circumstances.

Of course, there have been games where he hasn’t looked ready. Physically, he has a lot of work to do and a proper pre-season should benefit him.

Through it all, though, he could end this season as top scorer as he’s on four goals - with Ruben Neves and Pedro Neto the joint leaders on five.

You can’t fault his effort. He’s always on the move.

Who will Albion need to keep a close eye on?

Adama Traore, especially given the joy he had against Dan Burn in the reverse fixture.

In fairness, Traore has not had a brilliant season. A goal and two assists isn’t enough of a return given the qualities he has.

You always have to watch him closely, though.

How will they line-up?

Good question. Having played pretty well in a 4-3-3 I think they will go with the same system.

Patricio; Semedo, Coady, Saiss, Ait-Nouri; Neves, Dendoncker, Vitinha; Traore, Silva, Podence.

What will the score be?

Tends to be a draw, but I’ll go 2-1 Wolves.
