Glenn Murray believes his former side should have been given a penalty in the first half of their game against Wolves.

In the 16th minute, From a corner Burn felt he was pulled down by Morgan Gibbs-White.

However, Jonathan Moss waved the appeals much to the dismay of Albion’s wing back.

VAR did check the incident but felt there was nothing wrong with the challenge from the Wolves midfielder.

But, former Seagulls Murray, who was part of the BBC’s live coverage of the game was adamant that Burn should have been given a penalty for the challenge.

He said: “I think it should have been a penalty. Dan Burn is trying to get to that ball and I think it is Morgan Gibbs-White has not even seen the ball! He has basically rugby-tackled him.

“You have got to get your arms up in that situation, but Gibbs-White is out of control of the situation here.

“He sort of bends in to him does he not? I just think he is out of control and Dan is half past him and he is hanging on for dear life.”

However, Jermaine Jenas, who was a fellow pundit on the coverage felt Gibbs-White was just ‘standing his ground’ and didn’t think it was a penalty.
