Jofra Archer will make his first appearance for Sussex in the County Championship since 2018 this morning as they host Kent at Hove.
The Seamer has continued to step up his recovery from finger surgery and an elbow problem, as he hopes to be involved in next month's test series against New Zealand.
Fellow seamer George Garton has also been recalled to the side, with the pair coming for Joe Sarro and Stuart Meaker.
Skipper Ben Brown won the toss and Sussex will be bowling first.
