Graham Potter admits suspensions are a concern for Albion.

Neal Maupay and Lewis Dunk will both miss tomorrow's game at home to West Ham due to bans.

Albion have now had six red cards this season – all of them, coincidentally, in away games.

Probably only that of Dunk at Molineux affected the final scoreline in the match in question.

But the subsequent suspensions have been unwelcome.

Potter said: “I think you have to be concerned because that is a time when you have got players who are not available.

WHY THIS WAS ANOTHER YEAR OF TRANSITION FOR ALBION

“For every player you lose, you have to find a solution and adjust the team.

“It is part of the game and, in an ideal world, we don’t want it to happen but when you lose a player, whether it is through injury or suspension, the team has to readjust and that is where you can lose a little bit of performance.

“We have managed to navigate it pretty well but still, we can improve in that area.

“We need to use the group with a big week coming up.”
