Brighton striker Aaron Connolly has withdrawn from the Republic Of Ireland's squad for their international friendlies against Andorra and Hungary next month through injury.
The 21-year-old had only just returned from a foot injury last month which saw him miss three matches after the last international break.
He came off the bench in the 2-0 defeat to Arsenal on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday.
However, after being named in the Ireland's squad on Monday, Connolly has pulled out of the squad due to a foot injury.
He is not the only play to withdraw from the squad with West Ham goalkeeper Darren Randolph (hip) and West Brom striker Callum Robinson (achilles) also injured.
Peterborough United attacking midfielder Sam Szmodics has received his first international call-up to the Ireland squad in their place.
