Worthing have signed former Leeds and Gateshead keeper Harrison Male.

The 20-year-old left Leeds last June having spent 12 years at the Yorkshire club, signing his first professional contract in June 2019.

After leaving the Premier League side he joined National League North side Gateshead, but only made six appearances before this season's curtailment.

He has also represented England at U15's, U16's and U17's.

Male become the first permanent keeper the Rebels have had since former Whitehawk and Lewes keeper, Lucas Covolan joined Torquay in July 2019.

In the last couple of seasons Worthing have relied on loan signings in Albion's Carl Rushworth and former Seagulls keeper Roco Rees.

Male made his debut for the club during the recent post-season friendly at East Preston, impressing manager Adam Hinshelwood prompting the Rebels’ manager to get the deal done early.
