Danny Welbeck WON’T be bringing the LuaLua somersault back to the Amex.

But he can’t wait to produce a few famous Premier League goal celebrations.

The Albion striker is back on board for the new campaign.

He scored six goals last season and made a habit of performing celebrations made famous by players of yesteryear, including Tim Cahill and Benjani.

Kitman Alex Burrows came up with the ideas – and there are plenty more to come.

Welbeck said: “We have a laugh all the time.

“We talk about old school celebrations.

“Some of them are a bit out there.

“Every day at the training ground he’ll be giving out some celebrations for me to do so we’ll see.

“I can’t be doing the LuaLua one though, with the triple cartwheel and the back flip.

“I haven’t got that in the locker!”

Lomana Tresor LuaLua and his brother Kazenga both had trademark spectacular goal celebrations.

Kazenga’s somersaults delighted Albion fans although he admitted coaching staff felt he was risking injury unnecessarily.

Graham Potter need have no worries on that score.
