Brighton want to bring Enock Mwepu to the Amex
Albion target Enock Mwepu was left out of his club’s latest pre-season friendly ahead of a possible move.
The Zambian midfielder was released from the club’s training camp and a friendly versus Monaco.
The Seagulls have a confirmed interest in the Red Bull Salzburg star.
There is a suggestion from Austria that a deal is close.
Mwepu played and scored in last week’s friendly versus Slovak outfit Dunajska Streda.
Salzburger24 reported he was then released from camp due to contract negotiations with another club and highlighted the good relationship between Albion and Red Bull.
An Albion source confirmed this afternoon that Mwepu remained a "player of interest".
