ECSTATIC fans danced and cheered outside Brighton’s Royal Pavilion last night as England made it through to their first European Championship final.
Crowds gathered at the bottom of Church Street, shouting, clapping and singing a musical tribute to England manager Gareth Southgate.
“Southgate - you’re the one, you still turn me on, football’s coming home again,” the crowd chanted to the tune of Atomic Kitten’s 2001 song Whole Again.

Police were quick to block the road to traffic, directing vehicles away from the supporters.
Some fans threw their drinks in the air to celebrate England’s nail-biting win against Denmark in extra time.
The joyous mood was shared by fans in West Street, who marched down the road high-fiving passing motorists and even climbing a lamp post while police watched.
England’s 2-1 win against Denmark means the team are through to their first final at an international tournament since their World Cup win in 1966. They will play Italy on Sunday at Wembley Stadium.
