Albion are keeping tabs on Spain international wing-back Marc Cucurella.

The 22-year-old former Barcelona prospect is currently with his nation’s Olympic squad.

It is understood Cucurella, who now plays for Getafe, has been of interest for some time.

He plays wide on the left and reportedly has a buyout clause of about £15 million.

However a suggestion in Spain that the Seagulls have already seen a £13 million bid turned down is said to be wide of the mark by a well-placed source closer to home.

Cucurella cost Getafe significantly less than that last summer.

He is a regular with Spain under-21s and earned his one senior cap to date when they were called up en bloc recently to stand-in for the senior side in a friendly against Lithuania just ahead of Euro 2020.
