Brighton winger Alireza Jahanbakhsh is nearing a return to the Netherlands with Feyenoord.

The Argus understands that the Rotterdam outfit are close to complete a permanent deal for the Iranian international.

Before joining Albion in 2018, Jahanbakhsh spent five seasons in Holland and made 181 appearances for AZ and NEC, scoring 59 goals.

The winger would become the fifth player to leave the Seagulls this summer after Davy Propper, Bernardo, Viktor Gyokeres and Maty Ryan.

Jahanbakhsh could end up facing Propper this season, who completed a move back to PSV last month.
