Graham Potter wants a good look at what he has got before making major transfer moves.

Albion are training at their Lancing base after a planned getaway to Scotland was cancelled.

They are building towards a first friendly versus Rangers on Saturday with some key men yet to return from holidays.

Albion appear highly unlikely to see Ben White again with his move to Arsenal expected to go through soon.

The Seagulls are reported to be interested in Liverpool defender Nat Phillips and Croatia international Duje Caleta-Car, who plays for Marseille.

Highly-regarded Caleta-Car, 24, was part of the defence which made life tough for England at Wembley in their opening game of Euro 2020.

There are suggestions, unconfirmed closer to home, of talks between OM and the Seagulls about the player.

However it is understood there is no great urgency in making a move for any target at this time.

The Argus have been told the key now is seen as Potter and his staff reviewing the current squad in training and matches.

That will include players who could potentially go out on loan in the coming weeks.

The club cancelled their camp north of the border as a precaution as they remain on guard against the potential spread of Covid-19.

Albion will fly to and from Glasgow on Saturday as they face the Scottish champions at Ibrox (5.30pm).

A live stream will enable fans to follow the action from afar.

BRIGHTON'S BUSY WINDOW TO CONTINUE

Rangers drew 2-2 with Arsenal behind closed doors on Saturday.

Albion’s visit comes on a busy weekend for Steven Gerrard’s side which also sees them host Real Madrid on Sunday.
