Brighton let Glenn Murray go as they were preparing to move into their new home in 2011.

But that hasn’t stopped him becoming the king of the Amex goal-scorers after the first ten years.

He has even scored three for opposing teams on trips back to Sussex.

There have been 70 different goalscorers at the Amex in all competitions but the man who leads the way is no surprise.

Murray, who retired from football in May, tops the pile having scored 35 of his 54 goals in his second spell with the club at the Amex.

He is comfortably clear of two of his former strike partners Tomer Hemed (21) and Ashley Barnes (20).

Winger Anthony Knockaert (19) rounds up the top four.

There are two players from the current squad in the top ten.

German playmaker Pascal Gross has scored 13 of his 15 Albion goals at the Amex and is sixth on the list for goals scored in front of home fans, with skipper Lewis Dunk also in double digits just ahead of Inigo Calderon and Kazenga LuaLua (all nine goals).

There are seven other members of Graham Potter’s team on the list with Leandro Trossard and Neal Maupay just outside the top ten with eight home goals apiece.

But there were some surprise names who made leading places on the list.

For example, Calderon sits level with LuaLua, which included some stunners and a goal with his face.

Across those 70 different goalscorers for Albion at the Amex, there are only three players who have scored hat tricks.

The first player to net a hat-trick at the Amex was Leo Ulloa in March 2013, in their 4-1 win over Huddersfield Town, as he went on to become top scorer in the 2013-14 season with 16 goals in all competitions.

Hemed joined Ulloa on the list as he scored three of Albion’s five in their 5-0 thumping of Fulham in April 2016.

Six months later, Murray became the third player to score a hat-trick in their 5-0 rout against Norwich.

Below is the full list of Albion’s goalscorers at the Amex.

Not included are Murray’s two for Reading and one for Crystal Palace, all right in front of the North Stand.
