Brighton U23s have signed midfielder Jack Hinchy from National League side Stockport County on a two-year deal.
The 18-year-old made his debut for the Hatters back in January in their 1-0 defeat to Premier League side West Ham in the thrid round of the FA Cup.
Under-23 coach Andrew Crofts said, “Jack arrives off the back of a good season at Stockport and that was highlighted by his debut, which I am sure will have been a real point of pride for himself and his family.
“We’re pleased that he’s decided to trust us with his development – now it’s about him adjusting to the club and settling into a new area.”
Hinchy will go straight into the U23s squad as they to kick off their Premier League 2 campaign on Monday, as they take Derby at Pride Park
