Sussex seamer Tymal Mills has been recalled to England's 15-man preliminary squad for the T20 World Cup in the UAE and Oman.

It is the first time that the 29-year-old has returned to the international set-up for the first time since February 2017.

This summer, Mills has been impressive in the Vitality T20 Blast, where he has helped Sussex reach Finals Day at Edgbaston later this month.

He also showcased his skills in The Hundred, taking eight wickets as he helped the Southern Brave lift the trophy in the tournament's inaugural year.

Mills effectively takes up a vacancy created by his Sussex teammate Jofra Archer’s injury enforced omission.

His Sussex teammate for the remainder of this season Chris Jordan is also one of the 15 men to be named in the squad, although he will depart at the end of the campaign to join Surrey.
