Danny Welbeck is closing in on a start for Albion.
But he might have to settle for a place on the bench at Brentford today.
The former England striker made his first appearance of the season as a sub when the Seagulls lost to Everton going into the international break.
He has since enjoyed two good weeks of work as he eyes a place in Graham Potter’s XI.
Albion’s head coach said: “He’s getting closer and closer.
“He has had a good couple of weeks, no reaction from the game, had a good training session the other day, when he pushed himself quite a bit, so he’s definitely closer.
“That’s really good for us.”

Welbeck has been troubled by a hamstring issue which ruled him out of pre-season fixtures.
But he is expected to have a big part to play over the course of the season.
