Yves Bissouma believes Brighton can finish in the top ten or even higher in the Premier League tis season.

The Seagulls, who finished 16th last season, have made an impressive start to the campaign winning three out of their opening four matches and means they sit sixth in the table and are on the same number of points as Tottenham and last season's Champions Manchester City.

But the midfielder who has established himself as one of the first names on the teamsheet believes they can finish in the top ten in the Prem or even higher.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, he said: "We are working to be in the top ten, I think for me we can finish in the top ten or maybe a little bit higher.

"So we just have to work towards that and we are working for that."

With Albion currently occupying a European place in the table, Bissouma was asked if it is too early to be talking about playing in Europe next season?

He replied: "No it is too early for me because it is just four games that we have played, there is still a long way to go so we might move down in the table a little bit. But we can enjoy this moment and we have to improve week after week but it is too early to talk about Europe."
