Graham Potter believes Yves Bissouma can be "scary" when he is at his very best.

But he is even more pleased with his star midfielder's increased consistency.

Bissouma has established himself as an integral part of Albion’s squad and is one of the first names on the teamsheet.

That has seen miss just two of their last 42 games in the Premier League, with one of those being through suspension.

His form over the last 18 months has seen him linked with moves to top Prem sides.

But Potter believes there is still more to come from Bissouma.

Albion’s head coach said: “I think he made some really good steps but the exciting thing for us and him is that he is not at his maximum and there is more to come.

“But I think his consistency has improved, his lowest level has got higher.

“So, to speak his highest level is scary to be honest, he has got some quality.

"But it is about being consistent, understanding the game more and his role in the team and I think he has done that really well.

“He has been an important player for us over the last 18 months maybe even a little bit longer, he has taken steps but like I said he has still got some steps to take which is great for him and great for us because we need to help him get there.”

Rodgers believes Bissouma is a top class defensive midfielder- Page 31
