Danny Welbeck will urge Albion to get their minds back on the job as they report for training today.

Welbeck headed the winner and enjoyed a 2-1 success over Leicester as much as anyone.

But he insists the squad must come down from that high quickly.

Welbeck said: “It’s a really good start to the season for us to get those points on the board.

“But it’s also important for us to stay hungry every single day in training and preparing for games.

“It’s that sort of culture we want to implement into the whole club.

“We can enjoy today, enjoy the three points but tomorrow we have got to refocus and we go again.”

Welbeck’s goal was his first of the season – and his first in front of a big crowd at the Amex, although he netted before 2,000 fans versus Sheffield United last season.

Injury ruined his pre-season but he is glad to be back.

He added: “Missing the start of the season was not a good time but I’ve been working hard and making sure I’m ready.

“I’ve started the last two games and got like 65, 70 minutes today.

“I am building on that and looking forward to making a lot more of an impact.”
