Graham Potter is "hopeful" Yves Bissouma will be fit to face Crystal Palace on Monday.
But he will not feature against Swansea City in the Carabao Cup tomorrow night
Potter said Bissouma was “desperate” to play despite going down twice with a knee injury in the win over Leicester on Sunday.
The 25-year-old midfielder carried on with the blessing of the club medical staff to help Albion to a first ever Premier League win over the Foxes.
Bissouma eventually came off in the closing stages for Jakub Moder as a precaution.
Albion boss Potter said today: “Yves is recovering quite well. We’re hopeful that he will train at the back end of the week.
“He won’t be involved for the Swansea game, but we’re hopeful that he can play against Crystal Palace.”
Potter said there were no other injury concerns from the weekend.
He said: “No problems in the weekend in terms of fitness, it’s more just a look at the team and the squad to play against Swansea and balancing the need to be competitive in the game of course, to try to win the game and use the squad as well as we can.
