Dennis Whittington of Moulsecoomb ABC is through to the national semi-finals
Dennis Whittington from Moulsecoomb ABC is preparing for a big night.
He is through to the junior and junior development semi-finals, which take place in Nottingham.
Whittington’s journey started on the club’s home show, where he boxed Jimmy Friend (Westree ABC) he won the Southern Counties Championship.
He then went to Ramsgate and boxed Nurein Omar (Rainham), winning by a unanimous decision thank to a performance of real skill and class.
The final four takes place at the Harvey Hadden Sports Village this coming weekend.
Whittington fights in the 66-70kg category.
