ALBION fans have taken to social media to celebrate the team's achievement of climbing into the top four of the Premier League.

The Seagulls jumped into the top four of the league after their goalless draw with Norwich City on Saturday and other results going their way.

It could have been even better if Neal Maupay had been awarded a penalty after appearing to be caught by Tim Krul, however, no penalty was given in the end.

The achievement shows how much the team have improved this season. Since earning promotion to the Premier League, Albion have flirted with relegation back to the Championship, but this season a basement battle seems a long way off.

Graham Potter has continued to implement his attacking football philosophy, and while there were no goals against Norwich, it is starting to pay dividends.

Fans at the moment are enjoying every matchday, excited to see just how far the club can go this season.

Having climbed in the Champions League spots, fans are enjoying their time in the spotlight.

One fan tweeted: "We are 4th in the Premier League. Not 4th from bottom. Actual 4th."

Another fan tweeted: "If someone said a couple of years back that we'd be 4th in the Premier League after eight games and we'd beaten our next two opponents Liverpool and Manchester City last time we played them, you would never dare believe them.

"Drink it in Albion fans, and enjoy this moment."

Another Albion supporter tweeted: "Not in my wildest dreams, did I think I would wake up on a Monday morning seeing us fourth in the Champions League qualification spot.

"Long way to go still though, one game at a time and all that, Manchester City next."

The official Twiter account for Albion also joined in the fun and tweeted a picture of defender Marc Cucurella clapping the message "4th in the Premier League at the start of a new week."
