Robert Sanchez's progress was hailed as “amazing” after an eventful trip to Anfield.
The Albion keeper was closed down as he cleared when Liverpool had a potential third goal disallowed.
But his pass out from the back set his side moving for their equaliser in a 2-2 draw.
Head coach Graham Potter said: “If you look at the second goal, it comes from Rob with a fantastic pass to Marc Cucurella.
“He knows at that moment it is a mistake (for the disallowed Sadio Mane goal) and it can happen.
“He will want to improve from that and we will help him.
“But that’s just life, that’s how it is. It’s part of being a young goalkeeper.
“But he has been amazing since he has come in.

“He helps the team, comes for crosses that are just incredible so relieves pressure.
“Calmness with the ball but he is only young as well.
“Its his first season with a crowd, it’s Anfield, there are some challenge for him but I think he does it really well.”
