A member of Albion's highly-regarded academy set-up has secured a dream move to Europe.

Justinas Gasiunas has revealed will take over as goalkeeping coach at Hajduk Split.

The Lithuanian coached young goalkeepers with the Seagulls, including current No.1 Robert Sanchez.

Gasiunas tweeted: “Very happy to announce that I will be joining Hajduk Split as their goalkeeping coach.

”It’s a great privilege and honour to respect this great club and work with some fantastic players!”

He had previously announced his departure from the Seagulls, posting: ”After nearly eight years at Brighton & Hove Albion football club I decided to move on for new challenge.

“Had amazing time at this special club with special people.”

Hajduk are fourth in their domestic league and have a goalkeeping unit headed by 44-times capped veteran Danijel Subasic.
