Brighton and Crystal Palace have a time and date for their meeting at the Amex
Albion will host Crystal Palace on a Friday night.
The rivals will meet at the Amex on January 14, with an 8pm kick-off.
Sky Sports will show the game live.
A move from the Saturday afternoon is not unexpected although the fact it is a Friday night game is more of a surprise.
The change to a Friday means Albion avoid a switch to their graveyard slot on a Monday night, when they have never won a Premier League fixture.
