GRAHAM Potter's Albion side will have to face a reinforced Aston Villa side this weekend.

The Villans are expected to have four first-team players back from injury ahead of the match at Villa Park.

Danny Ings, Bertrand Traore and Leon Bailey are all in contention to be in the match-day squad to take on the Seagulls.

Ings has missed the previous two matches due to covid-19 related reasons. The striker was a summer arrival from Southampton and has scored three goals in his nine Premier League appearances so far this season.

Midfielder Marvelous Nakamba could also be fit for the match against the Seagulls as he will be close to overcoming his groin strain, but he will be assessed before the match.

Bailey is also in contention for new manager Steven Gerrard. There were concerns that he had picked up a hamstring injury while on international duty, as he was substituted in the closing minutes of Jamaica's match against USA.

However, it has since been confirmed that the winger was only suffering from cramp and should be available for selection.

Former Chelsea winger, Traore, is also targeting Albion to make his return from a thigh injury that has kept him out of action in the last four Premier League games.

Two players that will be out of the game are winger Trezeguet, who is out until April with a knee injury and midfielder Douglas Luiz who is out injured with a thigh injury.
