ANTONY Taylor has been announced as the referee for Albion's match against Southampton.

Graham Potter's side will take on the Saints on Saturday at St Mary's Stadium.

The man in the middle for the game will be Antony Taylor. He has officiated 20 Albion games in all competitions since 2007

Albion have won six of these games, although they have lost five and drawn the other nine. The last game Taylor officiated was the 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa in November.

Taylor has also taken charge of the match between Albion and Southampton at St Mary's before, that game was in 2018 and ended 2-2.

In that match, Taylor gave a last-minute penalty to Albion, which was scored by Glenn Murray.

Taylor will be assisted by Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn. The fourth official for the match is Stuart Atwell, and the VAR will be taken charge of by Martin Atkinson, his assistant is Matthew Wilkes.
