ALBION trio will miss the match against Southampton after picking up injuries against West Ham, Graham Potter has confirmed.

Jeremy Sarmiento, Adam Webster and Adam Lallana will all miss the Premier League fixture against the Saints after they were forced to abandon the game with the Hammers.

Making his full Premier League debut, Sarmiento was the first to exit the field in the 12th minute when he injured his right hamstring when trying to retrieve the ball from Hammers defender Kurt Zouma.

The Ecuadorian impressed against Leeds when he came on a second-half substitute, and will be cursing his luck as he is set for a spell on the sidelines.

Webster, who has already missed a decent chunk of the season with injury will also be unhappy as he was also substituted in the first half with a calf injury.

It got even worse for Albion as they had to finish the game with ten men after Adam Lallana was forced to leave the pitch with a leg injury and Potter had already used his three substitutes.

After the game, Potter confirmed that the three players will "certainly" miss the next Premier League game against Southampton on Saturday.

When asked about Sarmiento, Potter told the media: "It's a real blow on his first start. I saw him briefly and obviously, he's disappointed.

"I'm not sure how it happened I haven't spoken to him on that yet. It's his hamstring so we don't yet know the full extent of it until it settles down.

"Obviously really disappointing for him and the team.

"He and the two Adams [Webster and Lallana] both suffered today and they and Jeremy will certainly not be involved against Southampton.

"It was a bit of muscle bingo there but we have a group and we have a squad and we have to adapt but clearly it is not the best."
